WordPress trainer Amanda Blum has generously donated her time for a FREE WordPress class hosted at Brown University.

Logistics

Brought to you by Providence WordPress Meetup, the class is limited to 35 people, so please be sure to register early. Computers & Internet access will be available, or bring your laptop for a hands-on day. And, stick around for the Providence WordPress Meetup's August gathering at McFadden's for more insights from Amanda.

The session will be held in Room 269 in The Watson Center for Information Technology (aka the CIT). The entrance faces Thayer Street, but the building is on the corner of Waterman and Brook: Google map.

Parking: There is plenty of street parking available in the area.  If preferred there is a visitor lot 1 block over from CIT ($15 a day): information on visitor parking.

Amanda Blum

is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, and Creative Director of Howling Zoe Productions, a creative strategy firm involved in design, marketing and public relations. Helping  microbusinesses and non profits find new ways to reach their target demographic for over 10 years, Amanda represents a wide range of clients including  P.R. Agents, boutiques, entrepreneurs and web 2.0 companies.  Amanda has spoken at various WordCamps and other tech conferences, is active across social media platforms, was the founding organizer of WordCamp Boston, and leads the South Short/Cape Cod WordPress Meetup.  Amanda has been active in community volunteering for almost 20 years including HIV agencies, Red Cross, animal disaster rescue and environmental causes,  and is dedicated to helping non profits utilize social media tools to help further their mission.
